WELCOME TO THE CLUB
I would like to introduce myself as Chairwoman of Holy Name Football Club.
My Name is Caroline Henderson, I have been with Holy Name Football Club
since 1998, first as a parent watching my own 2 boys play for the club. Then
I became a FA level 2 Manager for the Club, managing the girl’s football team
from under 10’s to under 14’s, then the boy’s football team from U7s to U16s,
up to March 2020.
I became Chairwoman in 2018, to the present day. I wanted to become
Chairwoman, so it would allow me the opportunity to give back some of the
experience I have gained whilst working with other managers, parents and
children. Within our Club we have fully FA Qualified, DBS cleared managers, who
volunteer to coach children from the age of under 6yrs to under 16yrs. This
takes place in a very safe and friendly environment. The children will learn
various football skills and are encouraged to play in our teams on a weekly
basis, with the continued help and support of the parents.
Holy Name Football Club is a vibrant and well run Chartered Standard Club
based in Great Barr, which has been established for over 50 years.
Yours in football,
Caroline Henderson
Chairwoman - Holy Name Football Club
For the Record...
Mr Holy Name himself - Frank Holt (Club Secretary) was the longest serving member of the Club and is the reason why HNFC is still a success today. When he wasn't doing the day-to-day running of the Club he had somehow managed to help produce a 600-page hardback book, of his beloved Aston Villa FC, compiled with former Villa programme editor Rob Bishop. The book covers the whole of Villa’s history from 1874 right up to the end of the 2021/22 season.
Let's show our support and order one today!
Meet the Team
All our coaches and backroom staff have the appropriate FA certificates, First Aid qualifications and DBS checks to ensure your children are in safe hands.
